Fighting the Losing Fight (Carob Pumpkin Oatcakes Recipe)

I recently turned 16, Scribblers. (: I fell sick around the same time, but I guess it was my body's gift/wake-up call of a peaceful respite coupled with an order to reprioritize my life for some sleep.

Vegan picnic with Jessie! The video will be out shortly, consider this blog post a teaser.

Which I have an issue with. But I have been furiously trying to sort out other things in my life in the meantime. For example, my life purpose.

Loving Failure (Lime Breakfast Recipes)

Well, does anyone really love to fail? The point is: when I fail, I am always greeted with love. It's a thing I want to tell you all about today. I've been heavily procrastinating and busy atop of it all, so I apologize for the lack of recipes coming up and about lately. My time has been scare.

But you Scribblers still love me. That's my point.

Vegan Basics : Rainbow Island (BLUE Recipes)

Today is blue day. That means today we celebrate the ones who are loyal and trustworthy. The ones who are the rocks in other people's lives. You are the wise ones who typically know a little more. You  are calm and truthful, let's celebrate you.

Oh, and since leaves never turn blue for a reason (there's a long, scientific spiel for that), and there are pretty much zip foods that are naturally "blue" besides blueberries... I've simply included blueberries in every meal today in honor of the blue people. (And no, not the Avatar people.)

Recover : Why Love Your Body (Carrot Cake Truffles Recipe)

What Makes Me Happy {Sweet Potato Sundae Recipe}

TGIF! Recently, I was tagged on Instagram to list ten things that made me happy. For some reason, I forgot Fridays. So much makes me happy. I just rambled on about the first ten things that came to mind.
But #2 was food. And #1 was veganism. And this sweet potato sundae meets both criteria in the most fabulous of ways. Let's talk about the recipe.

MinuteMusings : The True Meaning of Easter {Easter Tri-Layer Pastel Cake Recipe}

Wow, you guys, it is Easter. I know I should've dished out a quick and easy hot cross buns recipe, but I'm an exceptionally bad cook. Like, yesterday I extraordinarily burned pancakes I attempted to make for my Miss FruitifulYou Spring. So I prefer making raw vegan things. (:
This beauty, however, is a through and through healthy, all-natural trip-layer cake. It's raw and it's vegan. It's pretty, and it's delicious.

MinuteMusings : Subliminal Messages {Tiramisu Ice Cream Recipe}

Life without music would be heartbreaking. Not to be cliche.
But, emotions tie to a soundtrack of my life. All of my experiences are backdropped by the beats, rhythms, and cadences blasting in my ears around each spot in the chronological timeline. Songs compound upon memories in my mind.
And speaking of memories, here is my favorite dessert ever as a child, only this time, it is healthy, vegan, and raw. Who would've guessed? Looks too delicious. ^,^

JourneyJournie : Happy Half-Birthday {Banana Oatmeal Cookies "Nanookies" Recipe}

It's been six months. Six months ago I sat down and typed up a quick and simple first post for this little blog of mine that I keep. It's come a long way, as have I. And I've gotta say, I'm pretty pleased with it all. In celebration, let's have some of those Nanookies I started out my blog with, recipe revamped.

New: Happy day of universal love to you all! Whether you're in love, looking for it, on the verge, or completely alone and loving it... You deserve these cheezecake bites. (cheeze = vegan cheese) And you deserve self-love. Let's talk a little about both of those topics.

Eat&Evaluate : Selma {MLK Day Tribute Chocolate Truffle Balls, Raw, Vegan}

What's Special:
One thing I need to say first about Martin Luther King: husbands must take example of the role he didn't prohibit his wife to rise up to. Coretta Scott King was an activist right along with her husband, took over when he was assassinated, and is the very reason we have a nationally recognized memorial day. And yes, he completely deserves it.

TopicalFoodie : Je Suis Charlie {Raw Vegan Raspberry Cake Recipe}

Today: It has been 2 days since two gunmen walked into the editorial meeting of Charlie Hebdo and took the job of irrefutably condemning 12 lives. The movement that insists that the French power of freedom of speech is still alive has swept the international scale. Watch the real-time reactions of the world on Twitter here.

AdviceWithASide :: Happiness {Vegan Carrot Cake Bars Recipe with Pumpkin Nicecream}

It's something that we all want, though we grow to search for it more as we grow up, as worries evolve to become more consuming.

JourneyJournie : Oat So Much to Do {Blueberry Zoats Recipe}

Well, since last time. What happened since last time anyway? It's been so long and so busy.
I love these JourneyJournies a little selfishly, because perhaps they do only benefit me. Unless you do like learning about the mundane details of my life. Well, I try to balance it out and give you a little something more. Like a recipe. And I'm really proud of this one. So read to the bottom.
