Eat&Evaluate : Big Hero 6 (Vegan Sushi Recipe)

What's Special:
Unfortunately, I missed Big Hero 6 in the theaters, and watched it on rental, so there is no supplementary cover art for the movie. But to make up for that, I made the sushi BH6 color themed. It's the least bit of a tribute that I could give to Disney's newest animation. Modeled after the advances of technology in Japan and using that backdrop to spin an engaging story that echoes an Avengers-Power Rangers feel, it may not seem like the most entrancing movie, but I learned that this film is certainly not one to judge by the cover.

Eat&Evaluate : A Weekend in NYC (Tips for a Traveling Vegan)

The Big Apple. How was it, people asked me? Well, let's just say I fell in love with this city very quickly. This place that never sleeps, the port destination for the hopeful immigrants, the streets of marquees and the city of dreams. How could I want to spend my future anywhere else?

Eat&Evaluate : Selma {MLK Day Tribute Chocolate Truffle Balls, Raw, Vegan}

What's Special:
One thing I need to say first about Martin Luther King: husbands must take example of the role he didn't prohibit his wife to rise up to. Coretta Scott King was an activist right along with her husband, took over when he was assassinated, and is the very reason we have a nationally recognized memorial day. And yes, he completely deserves it.

Eat&Evaluate : A Tourist's Guide to Orlando {Tips for a Traveling Vegan}

What's Special About This Place: Well, Mom and Dad decided that for Winter Break vacation, we would go to Orlando, FL! That meant two days spent riding the rides at Universal Studios Orlando, a day to go down to Tampa Bay to visit the Florida Aquarium, and a New Year's Eve countdown at the Epcot Disney center! But of course, that meant I had to find a way to eat.
